OUR STORY

Green Protectors Eco-Club

As one of the flagship programs under CEPIL, the Green Protector Eco-Club is designed for kids in elementary schools Liberia in order to teach, train, and give them real-world practical experiences on the significance of keeping and maintaining a safe and healthy environment.

A special curriculum is tailored to the level of understanding of the kids in these schools. The topics range from climate change, Ethics, Leadership, WASH, Environmental stewardship, etc. This creates a learning environment where these kids can easily grasp the concept of being an environmental steward and why the environment should be protected.

The essence of this strategy is to instill eco-friendly disciplines into these kids so that they can serve as ambassadors in their local communities; be consciously aware of the harm associated with unsustainable activities at a young age; be fully engaged into activities that promote sustainability; and being able to get the attention of stakeholders to make changes that are beneficial for the future.

Currently, we are partnering with several schools as we roll out these Green Protector Eco-Clubs activities. These schools include the John Lewis Morris Methodist School, the Effort Baptist School, and Dya Wulu Cooperative Learning).
We have managed to create a solid relationship with these institutions as we initiate programs that are in line with our vision.
